Antioch Urban Growers

Loved this place last year and love it even more this year. The owner is a joy to speak with and the nursery itself is well kept. I saw the staff individually watering certain plants. You can tell it’s a labor of love. I especially love that the compost is sourced from their own livestock on the property. There’s events and other people who come and sell relevant things that really give the nursery a community vibe! Will not go to the big assembly line type expensive nurseries again.

Fantastic local green house. They offer free classes on various growing topics as well as extremely friendly staff with very affordable prices. Always glad to give tips and assistance even if you’re visiting just for some solid green thumb advice.

I stopped in a few weeks ago looking for flowers and while it was too early in the season, the workers were not really friendly. I did not feel comfortable and won’t return, which sucks, because they’re like 3 miles from me and the closest nursery.

We stopped in today looking for plants, and instead we found community. The owner and his wife both greeted us as we walked in and told us about the events that they host throughout the warmer months. We will be back in a heartbeat and are looking forward to all of the activities to come! We just moved in nearby and this place is one of those that helps a new area feel like home.

Absolutely loved our visit! My boys had a blast checking everything out. The owner is a wonderful host and good with kids. Beautiful flowers and some good looking produce. We will definitely be back.
